A long journey to rediscover oneself, between spirituality and introspection, a unique game of its kind, to relive the experience of the most famous walk in the world.

The most documented and famous route of the Camino de Santiago is the one called Camino Francés, which connects, through 780.2 kilometers of roads and paths, the French town of Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port, located on the Pyrenean border, to Santiago de Compostela, a Spanish community not far from the Atlantic coast. In the city's cathedral, since as far back as 1075, the relics of the Apostle Saint James the Greater have been venerated. This long route constitutes a remarkable itinerary declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

The Camino is not a competition, but rather a very personal and intimate experience, a challenge with oneself. This game has the ability to compare the experiences of the players to offer healthy fun through comparison: who has completed the best Camino? As happens in real life, you will discover that it doesn't matter to be the first to reach the finish line, but it is essential to arrive in the best way. The game is based on three main characteristics: Body, Mind, and Spirit.

El Camino de Santiago: Board Game is a mental, physical, and spiritual journey that tests Peregrinos from all over the world. It is a path where you must face various challenges, first and foremost with yourself, using your mental abilities, drawing on physical resources, and never giving up your spiritual strength. This work proposes, evokes, or recreates all the fundamental dynamics of this incredible experience, for 1-5 Peregrinos from any time and place in the world.

A simple rulebook, accompanied by interesting historical and geographical information, 108 evocative large-format cards, beautifully illustrated, 5 exclusive place markers and 10 colored wooden indicators, and a Credencial pad with specific sheets to fill out during the game.

El Camino de Santiago: Board Game is an idea by Fabio Bicocchi, developed by eNigma.it and Tommaso Bagnoli, illustrated by Demis Savini, produced by Giacomo Santopietro for Sir Chester Cobblepot and Alessandro Ciaccio and Alessio Rimoldi for Dominioni Editore. The three-dimensional components were created by OrcoNero Miniatures.

Like the best novels, a good game offers significant cultural enrichment. However, unlike a book, a game allows for active interaction and, thanks to direct participation, overcomes the barriers of reading, offering an engaging and enriching experience. The collaboration between Sir Chester Cobblepot and Dominioni Editore highlights the unique power of games in conveying cultural values, opening up innovative perspectives in the world of cultural entertainment.
