Welcome to ancient Rome. Until the middle of the 1st century BC, gladiator fights were divided between the ludi gladiatorii, organized by the State in large amphitheaters, and the munera, celebratory events offered by private citizens.

From an idea by Aldo, Fabio, and Giada Ghetti, Sir Chester Cobblepot developed and produced the introductory game for the FightHex System for 2 players, ages 10 and up, for games with an average duration of 20 minutes, in collaboration with OrcoNero Miniatures, to introduce enthusiasts to the fascinating historical setting of the gladiatorial games.

In the Munera, participants compete in duels for the delight of a curious, enthusiastic, and ever-growing audience. These engaging spectacles from the early days of Roman gladiators are an easy and accessible game, suitable for everyone, both children and adults. Whoever is ready to defeat their opponent grabs the Gladius and takes up the Parmula, because the audience is already taking the best seats in the Forum Boarium!

We return to Republican Rome, where the ancient Italic rites are overwhelmed by the success of the first gladiator shows. The gladiators are already the symbol of the virtues that are making Rome great: strength, courage, and determination. You are about to enter the arena and your goal is to defeat your opponent, gaining fame and glory!

The Arena Colossei: Munera™ package consists of a case with a practical window that highlights the precious miniatures and is equipped with a QR code from which you can download the rulebook in the language of your choice, including: Italian, English, French, and many others.
Inside the package there is the arena for combat: the Foro Boario is ready to host the two contenders, both Samnis, faithful miniatures sculpted by OrcoNero Miniatures; tiles, cards (divided into two decks, one for Audax and one for Baccibus), tokens, markers, chips, and dice.

Arena Colossei: Munera™ recreates these very engaging spectacles in Rome and takes on the burden and honor of introducing you to gladiator fights, in this case two Samnis, gladiatorial figures enlisted after the conquest of Samnium.
Wield the gladius and take up the oplon: the audience is already taking the best seats and will decide your fate: fame and glory.
